Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how 1000xcodes (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our public website at our home page and related pages (together, the “Site”). The Site is an informational marketing and portfolio presence for our app development services. It is not a logged-in product: we do not offer user accounts on the Site itself.
Who we are
The Site is operated by 1000xcodes, an app development practice run by Abhinav. If you have questions about this policy or your information, you can reach us through the Book a Call page or via the contact options we publish on the Site (for example, our Instagram profile when linked from the Site).
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Site, the following may apply:
- Technical and usage data. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes standard server and request data (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) when you load pages. We also use Vercel Speed Insights to understand real-world performance (for example, Core Web Vitals–style metrics). That helps us keep the Site fast and reliable.
- Scheduling and call booking. When you book a call through our embedded scheduler, you interact with Cal.com. Cal.com collects the information you submit to schedule (such as name, email, and chosen time) under its own terms and privacy practices. We receive the booking information needed to hold the meeting as the organizer of that calendar.
- Messages you send us. If you contact us by email, social channels, or other methods we make available, we process the content of those messages and related metadata (such as your handle or email address) to respond and manage our relationship with you.
- Embedded content. Some portfolio (“Work”) pages may include embedded media (for example, YouTube videos). Loading or playing that content may allow the provider to collect data according to its own policies.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not run a first-party advertising or analytics stack on the Site for cross-site tracking. Third-party features we embed (such as the scheduling widget or video players) may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies as described in those services’ policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings where supported.
How we use information
We use the categories above to:
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site;
- Schedule and hold calls with prospective or current clients;
- Respond to inquiries and communicate about our services;
- Measure and improve site performance.
Service providers and third parties
We rely on vendors that process data on our behalf or alongside us when you use the Site, including:
- Vercel — hosting and related infrastructure; Vercel Speed Insights — performance metrics as described above.
- Cal.com — scheduling and calendar booking when you use our embedded scheduler.
- Typography — we use Next.js with Google Fonts sources; fonts are optimized and typically served without exposing your browsing on the Site to additional third-party font requests beyond our hosting setup.
- YouTube (Google) — when you view embedded videos on case study pages, Google’s terms and privacy notices apply to that embed.
Each provider’s own privacy policy governs how they handle data they process. We encourage you to read their policies if you want detail beyond this notice.
Retention
How long we keep information depends on what it is and why we have it. Server and performance data may be retained for periods determined by our hosting and analytics tools. Booking and correspondence data are kept as long as needed to schedule calls, deliver services, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Exact retention for Cal.com–hosted booking data is also described in Cal.com’s documentation.
Your choices and contact
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to or limit certain processing. To exercise those rights or ask a privacy question, contact us via Book a Call or the contact paths we provide on the Site. If we cannot fulfill a request (for example, because data is held only by a third-party scheduler), we will explain why and point you to the right place where possible.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have received such information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
